Dynamics AX Integration with the Microsoft Suite

This week I have been working with a customer running Lotus Notes (Boooooo).  I’m convincing them that the Microsoft Suite (Yayyyyyyy) is a better option although they wanted to know how Exchange compared with Notes, how SharePoint compared with Connections, and how Lync compared with SameTime.

So I created a walkthrough script that shows all of the features and integration points that Dynamics has to all of the other Microsoft products.  After finishing it, I realized that there was more that I had missed, but 4000 words was enough for today.

If you’re interested in taking a look, rather than transcribe it to Word and clog up exchange, here is a link to the document:

I hope that it sparks some ideas, and if you have any comments, then don’t hesitate to send them to me, or to post them on SkyDrive against the presentation
